Priscilla is a stay home mother of 3 children. She tries to encourage reading at home with the children by reading with them and for them. Often times they will see her reading too. For herself, she tries to read at least a chapter of a book a night but she will usually end up falling asleep soon after picking up a book. Finishing up a book takes longer now with her 3 children.
Here are a selection of Priscilla's favourite books from our collection.
Book 1: The Cat In The Hat by Dr Seuss(Coming Soon)
Easy to read and it capture the children's attention with the clever rhymes and tongue twister like sentences. My son loves listening to this and he finds it humorous when he tries to picture a cat balancing so many things with its body
Book 2: Legendary Princesses of Malaysia by Raman(Coming Soon)
Short stories on the legends of Malaysia. Interesting and simple. But rich in culture. Good to teach the kids a little more about Malaysia.
Book 3: The Monster Who Ate Darkness by Joyce Dunbar(Coming Soon)
This book helped my son get over his fear of being in the dark. I love it!
Book 4: Buried Treasures and Other Stories: Five Minute Tales for Bedtime(Coming Soon)
Short stories about adventure, magic and treasures.
Book 5: The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
This all time favourite book is colourful, cute and funny. I've used this book to encourage my children to try a variety of food.
